<I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a Fin-Advisor) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.>
Why do Tech companies do this ???
NO MORE CHEAP MONEY NO MORE HIDING BEHIND THE WORD TECH AND BUILDING NEW COMPNAIES ON DEBT AND POTENITAL JUST TO SELL IT
Wall st journal not in the business of promoting. The tech companies shrinkage lol this video softens the blow which is on brand

According to the WH things have NEVER BEEN BETTER. Time to celebrate.
Goofle, Twitter, and the likes don't produce an actual tangible goods. They don't really make a usable product and they have minimal socially redeeming value.
If they made bracelets it would at least be a tangible actual physical product.
Goofle also runs algorithms that hurt more actual producers of products in America than help them.
Everything Google ever had that could in fact help small business has been shut down and eliminated. I have been erased from Google along with my five star reviews more than a few times in the last 4 years. They wanted me to verify over and over and still show my business at a five year old address that I am no longer at. I have changed it at least a dozen times and it's still listed at the wrong address.
But if you say something on social media that doesn't praise the left you disappear every week. No way to recover any of your stats and reviews. Very destructive for a new small business.
But no harm for Google so no foul. No liability no customer support no reply.. "Tech" is not to here to support or promote any producers of tangible products.
That is not productive it is destructive to the economy.
Tech is not going to grow deleting small business.
The nice thing about learning and being able to demonstrate "soft skills" – emotional intelligence, creativity, problem-solving, etc. – is that they go with you during layoffs, as I've seen from my own experiences in the corporate world. Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, and many other business experts emphasize soft skills over hard ones. WSJ emphasizes kindness as a top skill. Develop these and collect endorsements you can show a hiring manager.
As a wise elder ancestor of mine once famously said:
'For the love of money is a root of all the evils; because of this craving, some people have wandered away from the faith (trusting in the Truth) and pierced themselves to the heart with many pains.
'
"Now the natural man does not receive the things from the Ruach l'Elohim (the breath of their Creator, which they deny)."— to him they are nonsense! Moreover, he is unable to grasp them, because they are evaluated through Ruach l'Elohim."
WSJ can't hide its bias. Stopped watching the video when they showed Elon Musk with a sink.
Amazon sells dangerous products
I hope their not turning facist employees…
DIVERSITY IS IMPORTANT
Yeah, and hundreds of narcissist, unprofessional employees filming their "work"days, going from free breakfast to yoga to coffee breaks to chillout rooms, doing around 30min of actual work per day, then putting that on TikTok to brag about their cushy lives has nothing to do with the layoffs.
And now the same people make TikTok videos filming themselves whining. Well boohoo.
The future is here
Yes, yes, yes, yeeeeeeeesssss! Karma!
I wonder what these folks think now after the Bloodbath in last couple weeks,With more Layoffs in the chamber.
Back to Prepandemic Levels? or
Back to Pre Low Interest Rate/Easy Cheap money No longer available Levels?
I recently made more purchases. Saving money for a market downturn is likewise a bad idea. There are numerous ways to look at recessions and depressions, we cannot always expect to make large returns, and taking chances is better than doing nothing. The bottom line is that you will achieve remarkable results by diversifying your portfolio and making wise decisions. My portfolio's raw earnings rose by $608k in just 5 months.
Thanks to the dumbo in the white house
So they are "facing" big layoffs. Poor companies, I actually thought they are actively laying off employees.
"Massive" is pretty subjective. Yes, in absolute numbers, 10-12k of people is a lot, and I feel bad for them, but at the same time, it's ~5-6% of these companies, which probably doesn't even account for how many they could lay off — there's always going to people retiring, quitting for other opportunities, etc. Although it's hard to see it when you're in it, if you get laid off, look at it as an opportunity rather than a detriment. Yes, you may have to scramble a bit to start unemployment, figure out key living scenarios such as health coverage, etc., but especially in the tech world, presumably you started out ahead of most of the population for relative earnings. Tightening the belt until you can find your next gig shouldn't be too difficult. Best of luck out there!
Well what do we expect? It seems that governments and competitors all over the world keep suing these big companies for mega bucks for frivolous reasons. So there goes the money that can be used for salaries. No company has an infinite amount of money. Now we are forced to take our heads out of the sand, after so many hard working people have lost their incomes.
This is all a good way to cover up the possibility that people don't like how woke these companies have become. Maybe if they stopped tampering with our elections which has crippled our economy, trampling on our constitutional rights, and being as insane as a saturday night character, they wouldn't be hurting right now.
META is junk and people don't like junk, I don't. MZ certainly lost a lot of money on META; 60 billion and growing. And why, GREED.
Why Tech industries are massivly laying off their workforce?
Go woke, go broke!. Elon showed that you can run a company efficiently without the excess employees. I hear Starbucks is hiring.
Success is only defined when your are doing your best to grow and learn new things… By the way thanks for the uploads. a fellow creator/
So, it's perfectly acceptable to quit a job now with zero notice and to do so via impersonal email? Great, good to know. I jest, but really, this seems a terrible precedent.
You neglected to mention these same companies endorsed the same political candidates that created the downturn.
First of all many of these tech firms cannot quantify the productivity of their employees unlike other industries so therefore they are carrying a lot of employees who can be laid of.
The government requires strict anti discrimination quotas that force companies to carry employees that aren't necessarily the most productive just to adhere to federal laws.
Many tech jobs can be done overseas for considerably lower salaries in countries like India.
LOL, that's why my 20$ investment to tech companies went to 14
Why did the leadership at these companies assume that the explosive growth they experienced during the pandemic and lockdowns would continue after those conditions waned? That was pretty stupid.
